Generosity Unleashed: A Giving Tuesday Devotion

Hello friend,

If you celebrated Thanksgiving, I hope you had a happy and blessed celebration with your loved ones.

Today is Giving Tuesday. I want to start with a devotion.

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:7 (NIV) - "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

Devotion:

Dear Heavenly Father,

On this Giving Tuesday, we come together with hearts full of gratitude for your abundant blessings. As we reflect on 2 Corinthians 9:7, help us embrace the joy of giving, not out of duty but with a cheerful heart.

In a world often driven by self-interest, guide us to be generous with our resources, time, and love. May our giving be a source of hope and healing, reflecting your love in tangible ways.

Thank you for entrusting us with the means to make a difference. As we give, may our actions be a testimony to your transformative love, reaching those in need and spreading light in dark places.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
